
The Group confirms its financial solidity and its strategic role within European mobility
October 2025 - The international agency Fitch Ratings has upgraded the long-term credit rating of ATM from ‘BBB’ to ‘BBB+’ with a Stable Outlook. At the same time, the short-term rating has been raised from ‘F2’ to ‘F1’.
Fitch Ratings reflect the robustness of ATM’s financial profile, placing it among the most solid public transport companies in Europe. This evaluation highlights the consistency of the company’s industrial planning and the ability to support strategic investments that anticipate the evolving needs of urban mobility, underlining its commitment to sustainability and environmental transition.
This rating confirms ATM’s strategic role in the European mobility landscape and reinforces its position as a benchmark among public transport companies, capable of generating values for both the community and its shareholder, the Municipality of Milan.
Thanks to this recognition, ATM is part of the select group of international public transport companies with an “Investment Grade” rating.
