ATM recently unveiled a new video spotlighting its engineering department that was presented during Next Mobility Exhibition 2024, the biennial international event dedicated to solutions, technologies, vehicles and policies for an integrated, innovative and sustainable mobility system for people.
The video offers a comprehensive look into ATM's Engineering Department, that originated within the maintenance departments, that eventually became a unique reality. This department brings together expertise in various areas of the transport system, managing both rolling stock and infrastructure.
“In ATM, engineers have a fundamental role, as they are not only specialized technicians, but also designers and builders of solutions supporting Authorities and Cities in tackling their challenges” says Roberto Conte, Rolling Stock Maintenance and Engineering Director.
Interdisciplinary by nature, the department integrates different competences to address complex public transport challenges. This approach enables to set up multidisciplinary teams that work together efficiently and effectively.
Since 2020, ATM’s engineering team has expanded significantly to 140 engineers. This growth, combined with deep local insights and operational expertise, sets ATM as sector leader in delivering groundbreaking projects.
